Knee Pain

Mechanical ventilation is sometimes a life-saving procedure. It is an artificial type of technique that can be used in people who have problems with their spontaneous breathing. This method is sometimes also referred to as assisted breathing. Several scenarios call for the use of mechanical ventilation. Patients with severe heart failure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease may sometimes require assisted breathing, for example.

Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center is the specialized provider of long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation providing a clinical program that allows the admission into our Transitional Vent Unit either for weaning purposes or long-term ventilated patients who are deemed medically stable. But require protracted and customized medical care specifically designed to slowly wean them off mechanical ventilation.
